| In uno dei punti piu' panoramici di Sorrento arroccato su uno sperone di roccia dove un tempo esisteva una "Tonnara".La Tonnarella e' un'oasi di tranquillita' e di pace per tutti coloro che desiderano assaporare un piccolo angolo di paradiso.Nata come villa per la residenza estiva della famiglia Gargiulo, si e' trasformata nel corso degli anni in albergo, mantenendo inalterato il fascino degli arredi antichi, delle ceramiche e delle architetture che intrecciano cornici di tufo sullo sfondo di un mare blu. Quasi tutte camere godono di una splendida veduta del golfo e della baia di Sorrento. Alcune hanno ampie terrazze o balconi, altre vasca idromassaggio e sono arredate in stile antico. |

Con il treno:
Dalla stazione di Roma Termini prendere un treno diretto a Napoli (Napoli Centrale o Napoli Piazza Garibaldi); raggiunta Napoli, prendere un treno per Sorrento dalla stessa stazione con la linea "Circumvesuviana" (1 ora di viaggio)
Per mare :
Dal molo "Beverello" in Piazza Municipio a Napoli prendere un aliscafo diretto a Sorrento.
In auto :
Da Roma prendere l'autostrada A1 con direzione Napoli e dopo aver superato i caselli per il pedaggio di Napoli, seguire la direzione Penisola Sorrentina immettendosi sull'autostrada Salerno/Reggio Calabria. Uscire poi dall'autostrada a Castellammare di Stabia e seguire le indicazioni per Sorrento. |

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel La Tonnarella. The location is spectacular and the updated rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable.

Very nice hotel with wonderful views of the Bay of Naples. Nicely situated to Sorrento, with a quiet environment. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

LaTonnarella made our stay in Sorrento a delight. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the view of the sea from our lovely balcony was addictive. The free parking is a real plus. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel offers very nice views, if you get a good room. The location is excellent, as is the restaurant, but the service by the hotel staff is barely adequate.

What a fantastic hotel. The views from the terrace (room 3) must be the best in Sorrento. All the big hotels look out onto the rooftops (and carparks) of Sorrento, because of its unique position on a rocky outcrop, La Tonnarella looks onto Sorrento from the sea thus you have marvellous view of the marinas (yes both of them) and the 'beach'.
The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. The room (no. 3) was clean, bright and very comfortable.
Forget the star rating, this is the perfect hotel for a visit to Sorrento.

The hotel was very nice, however the walls between rooms were very thin and you could hear the noises in the next room very clearly. Not very nice if you wanted to get a good night's sleep !
